There's actually more bamboo here in Albuquerque than I would have expected, people grow it in their yards for some reason.Probably to show that they can afford to waste our precious water.
I once helped my brother in Florida clear bamboo from his yard. That stuff is hard to get out because its roots are strong.

Bamboo! Hmm.. Bamboo seems universal. There is quite a bit of that here in the tropics.
